ABOUT
Jennifer Kaiser is a Miami based singer-songwriter known for pairing raw introspective lyrics with a wide dynamic and emotionally charged vocal range. Her Alternative and Indi dream-pop music explore themes of transformation, resilience, and perseverance.
Kaiser’s newly released third album “Guided by the Light” was born during one of the most difficult chapters of Jennifer’s life while she was caring for her mother battling pancreatic cancer. During that period, she quietly stashed away songs shaped by grief, resilience, vulnerability, and the determination to keep moving forward. The songs ultimately became an album about transformation, not losing herself in the darkness, and turning her darkest life experiences into something beautiful and full of light.
Since releasing her debut album "Masquerade" in 2011 and her second album “Closer to Red” in 2017, both produced by childhood friend and long time collaborator, Fernando Perdomo, Kaiser has received college radio airplay across the United States and performed coast to coast at venues including the Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood, Tobacco Road in Miami, and the Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale, where she opened for Soul Asylum.
Jennifer has collaborated with a long list of notable musicians including:

"GUIDED BY THE LIGHT"
LYRICS & CREDITS
1. I DIDN’T LOSE THE LIGHT
They tried to take it all away from me. I lost a lot in that fight. I lost my mother, I lost my brother, but I didn’t lose the light. I didn’t lose the light. It was dark and it was cold. Every day I was growing old. Stuck in silence, trapped in fear, without an end in sight. That’s where I got my insight. All the ways that I knew were gone and all the friends that I had changed. Everything is new and I can’t say I know the way, but I don’t want more of the same. No I don’t want more of the same. I will find my way back home. I will find my way back home. Everything is different I can’t say I know the way, but I know that I am not alone.
They tried to place all of their shame on me. I lost a lot in that fight. I lost my father, I lost my life, but I didn’t lose the light. I didn’t lose the light. And I will find my way back home. I will find my way back home. Everything is different I can’t say I know the way, but I know that I am not alone. Yes I know that I am not alone.

2. RADIATOR
We took a trip down a long dark road. It was pitch black. Waves crashing over head. The wind was blowing the cars off the road. No lights behind, no lights ahead. We were going steady as the dead. Radiator radiator radiator radiator radiator radiator radiator radiator
We took a walk, down a long dark lane. It was pitch black. The stars were shining overhead. The wind was blowing the hats off our heads. No lights behind, no lights ahead. We were going steady as the dead. Radiator radiator radiator radiator
Radiator radiator radiator radiator. Temperature rises, and no one knows if this engine that’s running will carry us home. Radiator radiator radiator radiator

3. HOW DO YOU LIKE ME NOW
Take away all of the pain Take away all of the doubt Take away all of the blame There’s not much left to figure out There’s nothing left to figure out. You’re a beautiful boy. You’re a beautiful girl. You’re a one of a kind, child don’t let them break you down. Don’t let them change your mind.
No one’s gonna tear me down. No one’s gonna change my mind. No one’s gonna take my pride cause I have God on my side. How do you like me now? How do you like me now?
When I let go of all the pain When I let go of all the doubt When I let go of all the shame
There’s nothing left to talk about. There’s nothing left to figure out.

4. EVERYTHING CHANGES - Kaiser/Perdomo/Kravitz
Every day that comes and goes I walk on by with my eyes closed and my head up high, cause it’s too hard to see. And the days turn to weeks and the weeks to months and the months to years and the fighting doesn’t stop. It’s overwhelming me.
But I don’t worry any more cause, it makes no sense to worry when nothing is for sure. Everything changes no matter what I do. Move the pieces forward but you’re still in my rear view. Everyone changes no matter who they are. In the end we’re only stardust reaching for each other’s hearts. Every day I work so hard to get it right and I think I’ve got it, I’ve climbed that flight. Then a curve ball hits me in the gut. Knocks me down so I push back up and dust myself off and nothing’s lost cause I’m standing back up. And I don’t worry any more cause it makes no sense to worry when nothing is for sure.
Everything changes no matter what I do. Move the pieces forward but you’re still in my rear view. Everyone changes, no matter who they are. In the end we’re all just stardust reaching for each other’s hearts.
But I don’t worry any more cause it makes no sense to worry when nothing is for sure.

5. WAITED FOR YOU
I waited for you to come out and play before the summer went away. I waited for you to come out and say that everything would be ok while the rain came pouring down all night I never lost sight of the light from the stars all shining bright in the sky.
Looking back I couldn’t explain how I made it through the game. It must have been something from outer space
That kept me moving on with grace while the rain came pouring down all night
I never lost sight of the light from the stars all shining bright in the sky. So don’t lose faith before your time
And don’t lose sight of what is right.

6. ONE SIDED DREAMER
If I could ease your pain then I would ease mine too. It’s just a silly game win or lose. But your right is my wrong and my wrong is your right. Can we just get along any time?
You’re a one sided dreamer dragging me along. I don’t know where I’m going but I’m still hanging on. One sided dreamer you don’t have a clue, but some where along the line I put my faith in you.
Will you keep me in your heart? Should I keep you in mine? Should I keep you in mind? Is this just wasted time? Nothing is for lost and nothing is to find. The only thing that makes sense of no sense any way is time. But you’re a one sided dreamer dragging me along. I don’t know where I’m going but I’m still hanging on. One sided dreamer you don’t have a clue, but some where along the line I put my faith in you.

She down on the corner. Just a little crime. When I make my money, got to get my dime
She down with her baby, wind is full of trash. She bold as a street light. Dark and sweet as hash. Way down in the hollow leaving so soon oooohhhh saint Teresa higher then then moon. ........

9. WILL I HAVE A CHANCE
Will I have a chance to tell you everything I wanted you to hear? Will I have a chance to tell you everything I needed to make clear. Oh I I I I don’t know. Oh I I I I don’t know
If I fall out of love along the way would you blame me for wanting to be happy?
If I accidentally make a big mistake would you forgive me
or would you quit on me? Oh I I I I don’t know. Oh I I I I don’t know...
If I’ll have a chance to tell you
everything I wanted you to know. And if I have a chance to tell you will you stay or will you let me go? Oh I I I I don’t know. Oh I I I I Don’t know
If I fall out of love along the way would you blame me for wanting to be happy. If I accidentally make a big mistake would you forgive me
or would you quit on me?

10. I’M NOT AFRAID
I’m sick and tired of feeling so alone. I’m sick and tired of fearing the unknown. Then I come to know things will never be the same. Trying to pretend that it’s not happening didn’t help at all.
Didn’t help at all. Didn’t help at all. I’m not afraid to get out of my own way. I’m not so blind to take this whole thing on as mine. I’m not alone forgive me for hiding.
I’m not to blame for the choices that you’ve made.
There were times I could’t handle all the pain. Lost myself for more than a year freeze frame. I couldn’t see and I had nothing left to say
I could’t breath I was dying every day. I could NOT believe this was happening. It wouldn’t go away. It wouldn’t go away.
I’m not afraid to get out of my own way. I’m not so blind to take this whole thing on as mine. I’m not alone forgive me for hiding. ’m not to blame for the choices that you’ve made.

11. BREAK OF DAWN
Why do I always smile when I feel so insecure? Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not for sure. Take me to your room. Hide me in your arms. Cover me with kisses until the break of dawn. Whisper me a story until I’m fast asleep. Don’t wake me if I’m dreaming
cause I could stay here...
I could stay here for a week.
